Midnight Muse strikes again!

Transparent Love

My *thing* of late is the acrylic albums and a long-time love affair with all things Hambly.  Hambly overlays, I love so much because when I buy that gorgeous piece of paper... it seem SUCH A WASTE to cover it up with other papers.  I truly adore the ability to layer with the more subtle effects of a transparency.  It's additive rather than taking away from the background.  … [Read more...]

A weekend full of inspiration and laughter

The ScrapPink event at momento was wonderful. That was so five years ago!

Five years ago I was at a scrapbook retreat with my girlfriends in New Jersey.  And I was doing something that I loved on my scrapbook pages -- PAPER PIECING.  Putting together a picture, using multiple colors of cardstock, chalking the edges and assembling it like the Jolee's things are now.
