With the gift giving season approaching, I came up with an idea for a fun wipe erase perpetual calendar that my husband could have in his office.
I used a 6×6 pageframe to house the ‘pages’, and attached a grid transparency piece to the inside of the pageframe. Then I used a tabbed page from a 6×6 album, and placed clear photo corners on the backside. This allows a 5×7 photo (trimmed to 5×6) to be placed inside, and changed as needed.
I overlayed a Hambly Urban Chic Frames transparency, in white, on the front side of the tabbed page. In the top hole of the tabbed page, I attached a flower shape, with organdy ribbon looped through the back to hold the wipe erase marker. The front is threaded through and into a clear button, and then knotted. I put some sticky arrow notes on the front, so he can note important dates, like a birthday. The pageframe and flower shape are alcohol inked with Stonewashed, Eggplant and Silver.
The calendar pages are printed on transparency, and the month name can be changed by putting another strip of paper into the label frame. This is attached with 1" Glue Lines along the sides.
I used Prima ‘bling’ from the punctation set, called Signs in the clear color, as faux brads for the label holder, a photo corner at lower right, and a parenthese on the tab portion of the page.
A Heidi Swapp ghost clock is also sandwiched behind the flower shape.
I gave lots of details, but it was super easy to make and easy to change out month-to-month. Thanks for looking!
