A little over a year ago, Marianne Walker posted a couple of Color Spotlights on her blog. Let's just say she had me at 'Hello'. I was hooked. I have taken a few colors on my own and began generating my own color combinations, using established color theory guidelines and hope to feature a couple of these semi-monthly. It's a wonderful way to occupy myself when traveling. I'm also adding the computer's interpretation of these colors.
Today's color is the ever useful, and pale B00. I use it so often, I found it was actually, finally needing reinking today! And for some reason, it looks like BOO (as in Halloween), so it was today's choice. LOL!

*Interpretations based on Adobe Kuler tool using the digital representation of the Copic Color Spectrum. I generate these as suggestions for color combos to try when you are looking for a nice change, or you have a paper that matches this particular color and you want help picking other unusual colors to go with it. These are highly subjective and MY interpretations based on on-screen samplings.
From my worksheet, I have created this card; using the Compound color swatches as the basis for my color choices.
Products Used for this Card Project:
-
Paper: 'Transatlantique' by Graphic 45, Black Magic Color Core cardstock by Core'dinations, Neenah Classic Crest in Solar White 80#
-
Stamps: 'Road Trip' by Inkadinkadoo
-
Copic: Airbrush System with B00, and E33, B34/B37, B63/B66, B0000/B00/B02, YR00/YR02/YR04, E00/E04/E07
-
Stamping Ink: Memento 'Tuxedo Black' by Tsukineko
-
Tools: Copic Airbrush System, Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Large Labels' and Pierceabilities 'Scallop and Ric Rac border' set.
-
Misc: Buttons and waxed linen thread.
Notes: Sentiment was first stamped with YR02 and B63 and then 'overstamped' with Memento to give it the impression of being a lit road sign.
Enjoy and have a great week.
