BLOG HOP: Technique Junkies Website Relaunch

TJ-LLC-logowebTechnique Junkies has completely revamped their website! Now you can see stamps by categories, search the online catalog, and even find artwork, cross-referenced by the stamp sets used.

Palettini - Stir the Imagination. Shake up your Style by Sally Lynn MacDonald

And you can now find my current Palettini line of rubber stamps, exclusively designed for Technique Junkies on the site. http://techniquejunkies.com/palettini-stamps/

In celebration of the website relaunch, TJ is running a SALE in celebration of all things new! Stamps in the store will be a generous 15% off from April 1-April 8th. And for inspiration, the TJ design team is doing a blog hop today. If you’ve arrived here directly, here are the links to the hop so you can follow along from the start!  I’m honored to participate as well.

The first card I would like to show you today, features a Palettini background stamp design, P004 ‘Creative Splat’.

P004 Creative Splat

P004 Creative Splat was designed with art journaling in mind, but makes a really fun, quick background for a card as well!I created this card with a variety of Stazon Midi inkpads applied to the rubber surface and then applied to the paper.

This card also uses SD352 ‘Everything She Touches’ for the sentiment.

The next card features the P001 Advertisement background stamp.P001-SD62113

P001 Advertisement was stamped on off-white cardstock with a Stazon Midi Ganache (dark brown) ink pad and then run through a die-cut machine to cut and emboss the edges. A bit of Momento Luxe ink in Toffee Crunch (light brown) was sponged onto the edges, along with Stazon Midi St. Valentine (red).

The background red cardstock was embossed with a plate from Spellbinders’ A Gilded Life collection for the script texture.

This card also uses SD621 ‘Winds of Change’ for the sentiment.

And my final card for today features a Palettini background stamp design, P019 ‘Skeleton Keys’ as well as the PS002 ‘Frame Set 1’.P019-PS002-S54615

P019 Skeleton Keys

P019 Skeleton Keys

I stamped and heat embossed P019, ‘Skeleton Keys’ with embossing ink and applied gold embossing powder. I then sprayed the background cardstock with Art Anthology Colorations spray ink in Peacock Feathers, Timeless and Salted Caramel.

I stamped and heat embossed a stamp from PS002 ‘Frames Set 1’ with embossing ink, applied verdigris embossing powder and the used a die to cut it out in a shape.

This card also uses a stamp from the set S546 ‘Things I Want to Do’ for the sentiment.
