When in doubt – wing it!

From the moment I saw this stamp set on Donna Downey's website – I knew I had to have it.  I like this brand too.  They are deeply etched red rubber, mounted on a cling mount cushion.  So just pop them out and slap em on an acrylic mount.  Super easy.

I started with a piece of stitched mulberry paper from Prima.  On the wrong side, of course.  I love the blank, stitched canvas for painting with Glimmer Mist.  I painted the petals of the flowers first with Creme de Rouge Glimmer Mist, and then closer to the center with Strawberry Shortcake Chalkboard Mist to get a two-toned coloration.  Then I sprayed around the floral designs with Frost Blue Glimmer Mist.  For the final step on the flowers, I painted Champagne Glimmer Glam for extra sparkle, topping the flower with a pearl and crystal center from Prima.

I colored this beauty's hair with Copics, using E11 as the base, and added E13, E15, E17, E19 and a little bit of E57.  Her skin is E00/E21/E31, with E04 for her lips and RV11 for her cheeks.

And the wings and quote at the bottom are from Crafty Secrets.  I love little 'art parts' like these Creative Scraps.

I dragged the edge of the trim and quote through the leftover Glimmer Mist on the craft sheet.  I painted it lightly onto the wings in Creme de Rouge.  Some crystal swirl stickers from Prima are the finishing touch.

Thanks for looking!
