Colorful Coastline

We are on our semi-annual trip to Hilton Head with the hub's family.

On Saturday, we arrived at this lovely beachfront home, the likes of which is only rented when this many families get together and pool our resources.  I mean seriously… wow.  You can get a glimpse of our view behind the short people above.

Since I was in the vicinity, on Sunday, I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with the ladies at Carolina Stamper in Beaufort, SC.  This little gem of a store, boasts scrapbook, stamping and beading supplies galore.  If you are in nearby Hilton Head Island, make this a day trip.  It is well worth the short drive up 170.  Owner, Janet Mark, keeps the store stocked with Copics too.  And yep, I picked up a few stamps!

I don't have anything else here to make a card with, but I did color.  Dare I call this one 'pooltry' rather than poultry?

No comments about similarity to how I look in a swimsuit, please!

Not that I want to follow the 'full moon' scenario much further, but last night we did go to the midnight premiere of Eclipse.  Just Bri, my niece, Shelby, and me.  That was great fun to do together and a happy memory for all of us.

Lest you think I've let the sun and sand get to me completely, I have firmed up some new dates and locations on the sidebar.  Although July is going to be time off, I am working out some brand new workshops with the folks from Canvas Corp., which will debut at my next venue Signed, Sealed & Delivered, in Rogers, Arkansas in early August!  They have some amazing surfaces and I know we will have fun creating with them.

Next up, later in the month I will visit the fabulous Stampology in the Chicago area.  I'm looking forward to the trip, and to some personal creative time at the CREATE with Cloth Paper Scissors, mixed media retreat that weekend.

There is more to come, and I'm excited to see the new releases from CHA-Summer in Rosemont next month.  Who knows what we'll be playing with next?  For now, I hope you are enjoying your summer as well.   I know I'll need a little 'vacation from my vacation' next week – but the Outer Banks will provide, as always.

Until then…
