Admiration (and enablement!)

It takes a bit to drag me, kicking and screaming (yeah, right) into buying a new stamp set. I only have a few (cough cough). But after admiring the work of several Spellbinders DT members and namely Jenn Ellefson‘s clean, classic style, I decided to venture forth with my wallet.

And that was enough for me.  I just purchased it, as well as this one.

This less fussed-over look is not something I’m good at emulating! But I admire it and love the flexibility of these images.  I have to give Nichole Heady with Papertrey Ink credit.  These are some of the most beautiful multi-purpose stamps I have seen in a long while!

This is a card that I made during a shoebox swap up in Albany last weekend.  I don’t know the designer of this particular swap, but it was very fun to make and my first try at these stamps.  I made mine into a square card.

I’m guessing that this is Lisa’s (let me know, will you?) and the clever use of circle punches to make the maxi scallop for the border was inspired.

P.S. Lisa, I know, I know – but I cannot help myself!!
