Technique Junkies June NEW RELEASES Blog Hop

Today marks the first day of June and a set of new stamp releases from Technique Junkies! It’s officially summer and the Technique Junkie Design Team is kicking off the sweet, sunny days with a blog hop showcasing all of the new designs for June. I’m featuring two stamps: S621 Clam Shells background and SD621 Winds of Change sentiment. I stamped Clam Shells with Stazon Jet Black and colored it using Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush. I tore the edges of the hot press watercolor paper and attached it to the patterned paper card base.

The sentiment was stamped on the same paper that I used for the card base, in Stazon Jet Black to contrast against the muted background pattern. I edged the paper with the black ink and applied it to the background using foam tape.
