What would it look like?  That is something I've been contemplating a lot lately.

It definitely wouldn't be one of those Pottery Barn-looking numbers with absolutely no clutter whatsoever.  I see a LOT of those posted online as I do my search.  Am I organized?  Yes!  Neat?  Uh uh…  let's be real.

So I'm on the hunt for spaces that inspire and look like someone actually uses them.

And contemplating getting a dumpster at the same time.

Then I ran across this picture on Danny Gregory's blog:

I like the idea of the fireman's pole – but then again, I thought it might be misconstrued as a pole for dancing.  Scratch that. 

Still wouldn't it be cool to jump out of bed, slide down the hatch and plop right into your studio?

Still dreaming.  2011 seems pretty great from where I'm standing.

Even if my studio is a shambles!
