This card was made with another adorable stamp from Faerie Song by Valarie Wade. I love her cute, shy pose sitting atop a toadstool.
The card design was inspired by CPS119 on Card Positioning Systems blog.
I started with some glossy patterned cardstock from Rouge de Garance. I used the colors in this paper to select my Copic Markers.

I really enjoy working with fairy images. Nothing like a little magic to brighten up your day. And thinking about wings – I'm going to take flight tomorrow and stretch a little myself. Looking for some 'Rusty Things' and assorted schtuff for my first assemblage workshop with Michael deMeng this weekend. After reading his book, 'The Secrets of Rusty Things'; I was all the more intrigued by his work. It is putting me firmly outside of my box, to say the least — but we have to jump around the periphery now and then to grow, n'est pas? Oooh, I think the French paper is rubbing off on me…
Ok, now I need to get down to packing…which includes testing all 500 markers and reinking where necessary so they will be ready for the Copic Certification Class in Belmont, NH on Sunday. Inky Inky Inky…
