I sent one card out in the mail and the other will be going in the Technique Junkies booth for stamp conventions.

I’ll go into detail on the second card. Many of these colors are similar to the first.
I stamped Let’s Face It 6 with Memento Cocoa Brown ink. Then I masked the image with its release paper and stamped Rose Urn background in Stazon Midi Ganache to frame it.
While it was still masked, I sprayed Art Anthology Colorations:
To make the background more ‘watercolor-y’, I put small puddles of water in a few places and let it drip and dry. Most notable in the lower right of the image…
I colored the face with Copic Markers:
- E11, E13, E23, E25, E27 for the face and eyes.
- BG72, YR23 and Bv04 for the shadows
- R81, R83, R85, R39 for the lips
The hair is lots of fun to create. I used Art Anthology Velvet paints in Kona and Truffle, mixing the colors to get just the right shade. I applied them and let them dry for just 30 seconds – and then swirled around in the paint with the handle end of a paint brush to get that texture. The paint is dimensional and dries amazingly fast for a textured application.
I stamped the sentiment and the frame in Stazon Midi Gothic Purple. Then I stamped again in Versamark, just so very slightly offset, to create a shadow image underneath; and heat embossed these with Ranger’s Queen’s Gold embossing powder.
A bit of bling was added to the frame in her hair (that’s what I designed that frame for in Frame Set 1!), and along the right side of the card.
I honestly can’t decide which card I like more. I like both for different reasons. So which one is your favorite?
