Update! Leave a comment on this post about how much you LOVE or WANT a Scrapbox and be entered into a drawing for one of THIRTY ScrapMaBob's! Such a great cupholder and scraps keeper all in one (a $20 value). I will do a random integer drawing on MONDAY evening at midnight. Good luck!!! (and thanks, Glenn!)
If you remember back in November, I was having a pretty good birthday weekend. I spent an evening assembling my new Original Scrapbox Minibox and started filling it up. As I was doing this, I noticed that the swinging interior door panels (that have velcro packets on the inside) were blank on the outer edge. I looked inside when one side was closed, and saw that there was definitely some room there to store low profile items.
Soon thereafter I called Glenn at www.theoriginalscrapbox.com and one good idea met another. They held an immediate brainstorming session and the result is:
The interior edge of the swinging doors will have a magnetic whiteboard.
This surface is perfect for storing low profile dies, such as those by Spellbinders. The magnetics are strong enough to hold a full set of Nestabilities.
This option should be available in March 2009.
On the full size Original Scrapbox, the space I utilized would have been the storage area for the folding tabletop. When the Minibox was invented, the essence of the design remained the same. But the area for stowing folding table top was no longer needed. This is what I took advantage of. Realizing this, they have done the same thing for the Original Scrapbox as well, on the upper portion of the panels. This area is also free for storing your low profile tools on a magnetic whiteboard surface.
So the already amazing Scrapbox is now even better! Please make sure to visit The Original Scrapbox at CHA Winter in Anaheim. And tell them Sally Lynn sent you! 🙂
Sally Lynn – this is sooooo exciting!
I ordered a scrapbox before Christmas – so I will be missing out on this great option.
thanks for the info!
Get storage idea! Even if ya don’t have that WONDERFUL piece, magnetic white board to store the Spellbinders dies is genius!
I wouldn’t think there would be anyone who would not want a Scrapbox! I live with my middle son and his family and care for two little grandchildren during the day. Me, my desk and computer for work and my card-making/scrapping supplies are confined to one fairly large bedroom. I would LOVE to have a Scrapbox!!
I love the scrapbox!!! It is a great work of art. the die board it a wonderful add on! thanks for bringing this to my attention. I know you are enjoying yours!!
Love your site,
Rhodeen
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my scrapbox. I got is as a gift for my birthday/Christmas/Valentine’s Day/Arbor Day/Easter/(you get the meaning). My DH put it together for me too!! When I open it I say “I’m goin’ in”. It reminds us all of the Wardrobe in the Chronicles of Narnia. I’d love to see how other people organized their scrapbox to see if mine needs fine tuning on the rearranging of my stuff.
I had never seen the Scrapbox. I took a tour of their site, and I would love to own one. I can’t imagine anyone that wouldn’t like to have one.
Thanks for a chance to win the ScrapMaBob.
SLM, Wow, you go girl. I love your huge inspiration for a product that I’m totally coveting…what a great way to store your die templates. Congratulations and thanks for the chance to win a itty prize (want it for my Starbucks and Diet Pepsi One)

This is a first for me seeing the scrapbox – looks like a great set up and I’ll have to check into it a little more. Your magnetic boards are brilliant!! I’m guessing they would also work perfectly in any standard cupboard? I hope there are different size options. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this!!
hugs, Jami
What a great idea. I would love to have one!
Karen

And congrats on creating the scrapbox magnetic board too – excellent idea.
Jill
I’ve seen their products and drool over them and how nicely everything has been thought through… The magnetic panels are great – can even be the spot to post those “note to self” items! This is on my “dream room” list!!
Who wouldn’t want a scrapbox?? what a great way to organize!!
Oh my gosh…I MUST have the magnetic boards…what a great amazing idea!!!!!!! Thank you for the contest also!! 🙂
Hi Sally Lynn,
I would love to have a ScrapBox!! My “word” for this year is organization, and a ScrapBox would certainly help me in acheiving it! Your idea to make it even more useful just enhances an already wonderful product.
I’d be honored to have a ScrapMaBob to help with my organization/productivity! Thanks for sharing!
Mary Lynn–What a great idea for the Scrapbox! It looks like such a neat organizational tool anyway, and now it has the perfect place for our SB and QK dies (which we know must always be within easy reach!). I like the Scrap-Ma-Bob also. When I get working, I don’t dare set a cup of anything liquid on my table–I prefer the tea and coffee stains to be intentional! Pat
if i had the cash i wud luv to have the scrapbox ma b sum da the wipe bord iz a gr8 idea to ad
I would love to own a ScrapBox. It stores and organizes (and hides!) so many supplies in a relatively small space.
I have been wanting a Scrapbox for about a year now. I fell in love with it ever since I saw it in my Creating Keepsakes magazine. We were on a family trip while I was reading the mag. So when I got home I went on their website and loved it even more. I am still saving for it but not quite there yet. I’m glad it has a new feature now. So smart of you.
Who wouldn’t want one of these storage units. Fantastic and they were really smart taking your suggestion and implementing it.
I love that smart panel – what a great idea!! Also the scrap ma bob would be very handy at the weekend crop I’m going to in March! thanks for the chance to win! Tracy in Michigan, crazyforsu@aol.com
I have been drooling over the ScrapBox for a very long while now! We added an addition on to my existing scraproom and I wanted to put something like this in the ‘old’ room when we start on it. But I just can’t decide to spend that kind of money and then only to outgrow it in time. Decisions, decisions! But, it looks like such an awesome item to have especially if one were in a very small or cramped place, this would be the perfect solution! Thanks for the opportunity to win a ScrapMaBob! They are a life saver in any scrappin’ environment!
I would love to own one of these!!!!! We live in a tiny house and I am always looking for more, better, and different ideas to store and organize! thanks for the give away. I could definitely use the cup holder and trash……Thanks again!
This is the dream box I have been looking for! I had not seen before but now I can dream in specifics! Wow have to get DH to see this website so I can help him choose my next gift! Love the mag whiteboard idea!
I would love the scrapbox! One of my New Year’s resolutions is to organized my scrapbooking stuff. Thanks for the chance to win!
Wow! What a great idea!! I love the original idea (as am a diet coke addict), but this new nestie magnetic board is genius! I would love love love love to have something like this!!
Oh my gosh! I want a Scrapbox so bad it hurts! Not only are they beautiful piece of furniture, but Wow! All that storage. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I need one of these babies. With all the wonderful features…like the magnetic board, the various size drawers and compartments….I want one! I want one! I need one!
A scrapbox is at the top of my wishlist. The storage solution looks fabulous and maybe then I could find things. You know that familiar statement ladies -“I was sure I had the perfect_____ but where is it”?!
Thank you for sponsoring this generous giveaway. Would be excited to win! The magnetic board idea is a great one
What a great idea for the Scrapbox! I would love to have one because we are in the process of reorganizing our home because Grandma who has dementia is coming to live with us. What a wonderful space saver and organizer! I have always loved these ScrapMaBobs -what a fun thing to have because this papercrafting can be messy and work up a big thirst at the same time: )Thanks for the chance to play!
Wow, what a great organizer! I would love to be the proud owner of one. What a great idea you came up with.

Oh to have a scrapbox is a stampers dream! Imagine all I could do IF I were organized and neat! I think it would make anyone’s world better and I know it would be wonderful for me. I have posted a pix on the fridge- hint-hint! debb
I would LOVE to have a Scrapbox!!! I desperately need to have more ortanization. This looks like a wonderful way to do just that!
I drool over the ads all the time when I see them in the scrap mags. Very smart of you to think of that magnetic board 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!
Wow, I thought the original Scrapbox was a winner – this one is light years better! Great idea! I’m all for organizing anything and everything.
Wow! You are so creative!! That’s an awesome idea!!
How great it is to know that you can influence a company into changing an already great product into a better one. I will now wait until March to get the new one. I have been wanting one and this makes me get off my butt and order one! Thanks for the great idea.
I just started papercrafting this year (hubby will tell you its been an expensive year LOL)
I would love a scrapbox!!!As i have already found out every millimeter of storage space counts in papercrafting hehe.
What I wouldn’t give for a scrapbox. All my stamping and scrapbook things all in one place. It would also fit in the small space I have and I would not need my kitchen table to stamp.
Hi what a great idea… and a wonderful prize. I hope I win it.
Christiane Richard from Montreal
I would love to have a scrapbox…hopefully one day! I need all the help I can get with organizing..
WOW! This is very clever! This is a great organizational tool!!
I WANT IT! The white pannel is fab. Just what I have been looking for.
O-r-g-a-n-i-z-a-t-i-o-n !!!!!! That is the main reason I would love to have a Scrapbox. Such a wonderful piece of furniture. Thanks a bunch for offering a ScrapMa Bob.
CherylG
Pretty cool. I really like that magnetic panel. The cup holder is just the perfect touch. So, if I was lucky enough to win the cup holder and scrap holder would my hubbie spring for the scrapbox to go with it? I can dream can’t I?
What a great storage area …. especially for those great Spellbinder Nesties 🙂 I may have to take a good look at this system !
Oh my gosh!!!! I would so love to own a Scrapbox!!
The organization would be out of this world!
Wow this is awesome. I just love this Scrapbox. This would help me be so organized and love the magnetic board. This is going on my list of MUST HAVE! Thanks for a chance at this sweet giveaway.
That is such a cool idea adding the magnetic whiteboards to the inside the the Scrapbox cabinets. You are so smart 🙂
I would love, love to have a ScrapMaBob. I was eyeballing them the other day at Scrapbook ‘N Such and almost bought one!
wow. I had never seen these before. What a lovely way to stay organised! I am constantly rearranging the storage in my smallest bedroom to try and get it right so I would love something like this. However, at that price it looks like a pipedream!! A scrapmabob though would be super!! I am always frightened of knocking over my tea!
Wow, this is a great system and I think the magnetic white board is ingenious!!! Super for the Nesties…I’d LOVE one!!! (Wish List) WTG!
OH MY, THAT STORAGE UNIT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. MAY HAVE TO START A “LITTLE SAVINGS JAR” JUST FOR THAT.
I REALLY COULD USE THE CUP HOLDER AND SCRAP BAG–WHO COULDN’T.
YOUR SITE IS GREAT, MUST ADD YOU TO MY “FAVORITES”.
HOPE TO WIN.
THANKS, TOMI JO
Love the new idea for the scrapbox. My nesties are now on foamboards that i covered with magnetic sheets. It is handy but having them on a scrapbox door would be even better. Would definite love one. And of course i would love having a ScrapMaBob, too. ISo many times i have bottles of this or that sitting in my work area and worry about tipping them over and ruining my work. With a ScrapMaBob i could just put them in there and my worries are gone. Thank you for the chance to win one.
How could you not want a scrapbox? I would love to have everything right at my fingertips, and organized!
Oh…I would LOVE a scrapbox. I have this thing about storing things..I much prefer cabinets over shelves. I don’t like to look at whatever I have stored and stacked when I walk into a room or a space. I like the look of nice closed cabinet doors! The scrapbox is something that would make my scrapping space so much more peaceful and relaxing for me. I always feel a little tension walking in and seeing all my containers of stuff here and there. It’s organized…but I would rather be able to close the door and not see any of that! Being a SAHMommy — it’s not likely a scrapbox is in our budget any time in the next 15 years! 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!

What great ideas on how to organize all of this wonderful creative stuff. It can be so overwhelming if not corralled.
Thank you for considering me for a scrapbox.
My friends call me an organization freak, so of course, the Scrapbox looks great! I love your idea about magnetic panels too.
Wow what a wonderful storage system. I love the magnetic sheet for holding nestibiliites. I really would love one. Time to share my dream with my bank account.
Hugs
Heather
The scrapbox looks really cool. I am always looking for better ways to organize. Thanks for the give away!
Ok, I have never seen this before, definately going to be checking further into these. Liz
Hi!
Just wondered if the scrapbox would also hold stamps? I would like to have one that would hold them since I have so many stamps in addition to all my tools and paper. I really like the idea of putting the nestabilities on the inside of the door – what a space saver and easy access to them.
I have never seen the Scrapbox before went to there sight and checked them out. Great idea you had! Thanks for the chance to win a Scrap Ma Bob.
Love the scrapbox. Think I need one of those now and definitely need a scrap ma bob.
Wow, I’d love to have a Scrapbox to get more organized. Your idea of the magnetic board is a great one and I would love to store mine this way.
Thanks,
Betty
I’ve dreamed of a Scrapbox since I first saw them. I’d love either the original or mini. Who wouldn’t? Love the magnetic white board!
Oh I love the scrapmabob! And well the scrapbox is a cool toy- and congrats to you for the “invention” of yet another wonderful idea!
Wow! I had never heard of the Scrapbox! It looks so great…all of that stuff in such a small footprint. Would love to have one. I’m getting ready to move and having to go through my supplies. Should be settled in by next Christmas…hmmm…it would look awesome in my craft room!
The magnetic board makes the scrapbox even more fantastic! The cup holder is to die for. I don’t want to think about the few times I have spilled my drink…it doesn’t take many accidents to want a safe haven!
What a great idea. I just think the scrapbox is a wonderful product. Hope I am one of the lucky winners.
Gail
Oh my I would absolutely love a scrapbox! What a wonderful product! Thanks for the chance to win.
🙂
That scrapbox is so cool!!! I am desperate for a workable organizing system…I just haven’t found it yet! I also love those scrapmabobs…I’ve been looking for something like that for a long long time…

This is my dream to have a scrapbox one day!! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Love the Scrapbox. I don’t have one but I’m definately checking into them. My extremely disorganized scrapbook areas (plural because there’s a little here, and a little there, LOL) would love to be adorned by Scrapbox products. Love your blog. Very informative.
Oh, I desperately want one of these! Pick me, pretty please?!!
I would just love to have a scrapbox! I would really like to get organized this year and this would be such a great way to start. I love how the nestabillites are stored.
Wasn’t even aware of this product! It looks absolutely amazing and to attacha a coffee cup too!
Love the idea of magnetic panels. Right now I am just using sheets of magnet for my dies.
What an amazing give away!
Awesome! We all can use some more organization in our lives. Thanks for the chance!
Scrapbox has to be the ultimate organizer! Doesn’t everyone want one?

Hey what a wonderful idea. I am always looking for ways to help me stay organized. This looks like a great addition. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Off to their website…
This is the first time I have seen one of these but I love the scrapbox and definitely NEEEED one! I need all the help getting organized that I can get. Thanks for sharing a wonderful creation and giving a chance to win one.
Scrapbox is on my wishlist. Though I’m afraid my floor looms might get a bit jealous as they are used to being the biggest thing in the room! – lol!
Love your idea for the addition of the mag panels. great for putting up design ideas too while in process.
Even the mini would be a blessing. My only question. Once you’ve got it open and in use do you really close it up each time you’re done? I bet you can guess my answer 🙂
I’ve never seen this before! OMG! What an awesome product. I’d just absolutely love, love, love to have one. I need the storage so very badly! Please pick me!
I want a Scrapbox soooo badly, but will have to wait some months to get it! I am having my studio remodeled this year and when it’s completed, my Scrapbox will have a wall all to itself!
A ScrapMaBob would be ideal for someone who is messy like me!!! So nice for all those little scraps that end up on the floor and dragged through the house!
The storage for your Nestabilities is a wonderful idea.
What a great tool. I usually spill my beverage. That is a great way to keep projects safe and a great place for trash. I have always wanted one. What an awesome Idea you have for the magnet board to hold your low profile items.
What a great idea…I would love to own one of these!
Charmaine
HI
I would love one! I really need to organize my stuff!
Wow! What a great invention! I need this!
WOW, the Scrapbox is just what this stamp clutter needs! And love the cupholder. Thanks for an opportunity to win!
This looks really neat and surely serves a purpose, especially for me! I’ve knocked over my ice water glass a couple of times in the past and was very lucky that I wasn’t working on a project at the time. So, I could really use this. Thanks for offering the giveaway….
I definitely want a Scrapbox and would so appreciate the chance to get organized – it looks great. You have a lovely column too. Thanks for entering me into your draw.
Wow, how I would LOVE to own a Scrapbox! They look awesome 🙂 Storing the Spellbinders dies on a magnetic white board is pure genious! The Scrapmabob cupholder is an awesome idea too.
Wow, congratulations on thinking up a great idea on how to make a great product even better. Anyone who has been into papercrafts for more than two hours NEEDS and WANTS a Scrapbox. Winning the ScrapMaBob will be a good start. Thanks for the opportunity. Linda S. in NE lsfouratwindstreamdotnet
OMG!!! I LOVE the Scrapbox! Too bad you aren’t giving one of those away! hehe! But the scrap-ma-bob looks like it would be very handy. I’m always so worried about spilling my water or diet coke when I’m scrapbooking or making cards, etc.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Ooh! I could be so organized if I had a scrapbox … or two!
Note to self … must see in person!
Brilliant! My husband would love for me to have a scrapbox. My scrap room is an organized mess!
I really like the organizational things cause I’m an organizational person : ) I would love to win the cupholder!!! : ) thanks!
What a great idea!!! good for storage and organizing! I like to think all of my material is organized, but it’s nothing like this!
Wow!! Gotta have it!! Thanks for sharing this info Sally Lynn. Genius… great idea about the magnetic boards. Unbelievable way to maximize storage space!!
Wow, what an ingenious storage solution! The Scrapbox alone is outstanding; but, the addition of the magnetic board is just superb.
Sally Lynn, you never cease to amaze me. I’ve been a long-time admirer of yours and enjoy visiting your blog on a regular basis.
Oh, and thx for the sneak peak!

Sally Lynn,
What a brilliant idea! You know what amazes me about you and this idea the most? The rest of us would’ve thought it was a good idea, made modifications to our own Scrapbox and blogged about how others could do this. You, you phone up the owner of Scrapbox and tell them about it and the next thing we know, it’s a product!
I have drooled over the Original Scrapbox since seeing it in person here in the UK two years ago at Stitches. How brilliant would it be for me to be able to organise everything in one cupboard and be able to find it when I need it. Now, where did I put my Inkssentials White Pens?…
The idea of a magnetic board for the Wizard dies is brilliant! The only resolution this year is to organize. This would be perfect!

Hello from over the big pond!
Why i need a freebie, well i have only got a wardrobe with a couple of shelves in to craft from, as a desk-cum-workspace-cum-storage area, its a mini craft room and i have to sit up to them in my wheelchair, i think the idea of a fasten on holder is right for me becaause i have so little space that i would not have to worry about knocking over a drink onto all my hard work!
I need that most wonderful storage area, the scrapbox because I have to do my crafting in such a tiny space, organisation is KEY! it would be perfect for anyone, but especially for me because I am a wheelchair user and I only have a tiny room! Pretty please!
Congrats Sally Lynn, I am so excited for your new success. Glad to see everything came together.
Christy
Loving the scrapbox thing. Thanks for a chance to enter.
I think the magnetic board option has to be one of the greatest ideas. Maybe someday I can get it.
I would soooo love to have a scrapbox. I have just started scrapbooking and see how quickly my space is filling up. Having two small kids I would love to have a way to keep it out of their reach.
I agree, Schannon. But just to be clear, if you were trying to participate in the drawing – this post was from a YEAR ago. 2009! 🙂 Still, I love my minibox!
